There is strength in numbers – There are a lot of us.

In 2006, there were 51,679 motorcycles registered in Idaho, 108,958 motorcycles registered in Oregon, and 163,297 motorcycles registered in Washington. That’s almost 324,000 riders. If everyone donated just $10, The Down Rider Foundation would have three million two hundred forty thousand dollars in the fund to take care of our own, or looking at it another way, if only 10% donated one hundred bucks, we would have the same amount.

The Down Rider Foundation Annual Ride: Rumor has it, last year ya’ll raised $630,000 in one day for Seattle Children’s Hospital. We can do an annual Down Rider Foundation ride and raise at least that much.

Poker Runs and Dedicated Club Rides: Both the Metric and American clubs could do their own rides to raise donations for The Down Rider Foundation. Again, if everyone pools the money in The Down Rider Foundation there will be a lot more of it to disburse when one of our own goes down.
